There are many doctrines taught in the mainstream Christian churches that are false teachings. Which are not supported by the word of God, the Bible. But how can so many people around the world be wrong? Because they have been deceived by the "wine" (false doctrines) of Babylon the Great. The whore of Babylon has made the world drunk with her false teachings and as Revelation 13 confirms, she has made the "WHOLE world wonder after the beast." The purpose of this sermon is to enlighten you with the TRUTH of God's word regarding these teachings. I ask you to prayerfully study these things for you self as well. Asking God to reveal the truth, because it is only through the truth that we will be able to stand against the deceptions of Satan during the last days before Jesus 

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceiveableness and unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: They they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Do you see why the truth is so important? Do you have love for the truth? The truth will set us free. (John 8:32) which is found only in the word of God. (John 17:) and those who live the truth (John 3:21) will worship God according to the truth (John 4:23-24) through Jesus Christ who IS the truth (John14:6) an the ONLY way to salvation. 

Ephesians 6:14 "Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth."

FALSE DOCTRINE 1 - THE IMMORTAL SOUL

The majority of professinf Christians today believe thar when we dke, we have a seperate 'soul' that continues to live on. Those who are lost will go to "hell" and the saved will go to heaven. Did you know that Christians were not the first people to believe in an immortal soul? No, this belief came from the Pagan world. All throughout the Old Testament, you will not see one verse where God or His people proclaimed an immortal soul teaching. And the same goes with the New Testament. Apart from some vague statements made by the apostle Paul, which do not support an immortal soul at all. So what is the truth? Lets have a look: Genesis 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Now according to the popular belief today, we were GIVEN a soul that lives on after we die. But can you see the truth in the Bible verse? Man BECAME a living soul with the breath of God (spirit) in him. So what happens when that breath of God (spirit) goes out? Genesis 3:19 "In the awear of thy face shalt thlu eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken; for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Can you see the clarity in this? We are made of dirt from the ground. And ONLY the breath of God keeps us alive and makes us 'living souls.' But without the breath of God in us, we become DUST again! We were not given a soul, we ARE living souls while we are alive. All throughout the Old Testament we are taught that after death we know NOTHING. (Ecclesiastes 9:5,10, Psalm 115:17) And in Isaiah, we are given a remarkable prophecy concerning the second coming of Chist and the doctrine of what happens when we die. 

Isaiah 26:19 "Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead."

Do you see? Where do we DWELL until the secomd coming of Christ? In the grave! Awaitimg the ressurection. This is Bible TRUTH. When we die, we return to dust and await the second coming of Jesus Christ when he will ressurect us. We do not have an immortal soul, because ONLY Christ has immortality. (1 Timothy 6:16) And it is ONLY through Him that we can GAIN immortality. Christ taught himself that when we die, we sleep. (Matthew 9:24; John 11:11-14) And this falls in line with the Old Testament teaching that we "wait" in the grave until the ressurrection. We need to know the TRUTH about this subject because Satan is going to use it to deceive the nations in ths last days. Spiritualism is on the rise and we need the truth so we don't get caught in its trap. 

FALSE DOCTRINE 2 - ETERNAL HELL

Now this false teaching is a complete abomination. It is a doctrine of devils! Mainstream Christian churches believe and teach thar when a "lost" person dies that he/she will be sent into the "fires of hell" there to remain, to burn in anguish and extreme pain for all eternity. So lets get this straight our God of LOVE is going to torture the lost with fire for ceaseless ages to come? And all for a SHORT life of sin? In a body that is prone to sin because of the fall of Adam and Eve? Does this sound like love? Not one bit. But wait, maybe the Bible teaches this? No it doesn't! 

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoeber believeth im him should not perish, but have everlasting life." 

The most well known Bible verse in the whole world. And yet so few people actually KNOW what its saying! There are ONLY two options for us. One is to follow Christ and GAIN eternal life. The other is to NOT follow Jesus Christ and PERISH. We all know what perish means right? To be COMPLETELY destroyed. Nothing left! And when we learn the truth that we don't have an immortal soul, this makes sense. Now don't get me wrong the lost will be punished with "hell fire," which will "burn them up." (Malachi 4:1) and they will die the "second DEATH." (Revelation 21:8) And this agrees with what God foretold long ago, when He said "the soul that sinneth, it SHALL DIE." (Ezekiel 18:20) 

FALSE DOCTRINE 3 - THE RAPTURE

As I mentioned in my Rapture Theory sermon, the rapture is based on just a few Bible verses. And those who push it completely ignore the crystal clear Bible verse that 100 percent PROVES the rapture theory to be false. And not only is it a false teaching, those who believe it cannot even agree on WHEN it is going to happen. Pre tribulation, mid tribulation, or post tribulation. There is just complete confusing regarding this teaching. And yet the Bible is so clear, there is NO rapture. The word doesn't even exist in the Bible. So here's some verses that expose this false doctrine. 

Matthew 12:24-30 'Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while he slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the whear, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, and enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go gather them up? But he said; Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let them both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together FIRST the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: But gather the wheat into my barn.'

The word of God is so clear! So what does the rapture theory teach us? That Jesus will suddenly rapture away the church BEFORE the end of the world and BEFORE the lost are gathered, and then the world continues for another 7 years, which there will be great tribulation. So the rapture teaches that Christ will take the saved FIRST. But what does the above Bible verse confirm? They confir, that the wheat (church) and the tares (the lost) will GROW TOGETHER UNTIL THE HARVEST, and then the LOST are taken FIRST. And when is the harvest?

Matthew 13:38-40 "The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; But the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world." 

No matter what one or two scriptures they try to base it on the rapture theory is dead against the above Bible verses. The TRUTH. And do you know what is so dangerous about this rapture teaching? It makes people relax and think they will get a second chance after the rapture to be saved! This is a deception from Satan. Because when Christ does return evert case for the saved and the lost will have ALREADY been judged and decided. And there will be NO second chance. 

FALSE DOCTRINE 4 - THE SABBATH DAY ABOLISHED

Although this is labelled the Sabbath day abolished, there are a few differing views and beliefs concerning the sabbath throughout the mainstream Christian churches. Some believe the sabbath day of the 4th commandment has been abolished completely. Some believe the Sabbath day has been changed from the 7th day of the week to the 1st day of the week. And others believe we can keep any day as the Sabbath day. But you guessed it! They are ALL wrong. Because the 7th day sabbath still stands exactly as per the 4th commandment today. Let me share an interesting statement made by Jesus himself: 

Matthew 5:17-18 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fufill. For Verily I say unto you, Til heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Now many Christians look at this verse and for some strange reason use it to defend their belief that Jesus "did away" with the ten commandments. And yet it is a clear contradiction to what Jesus actually says. Jesus said he DIDN'T come to destroy the law, he came to "fulfill" the law. And the word "fulfill" In the original language means 'to bring FULL MEANING' to the law. The next verse is even more clear. "Till heaven and earth pass, no one jot nor title shall in no wise pass from the law." 

Do you see what Christ is saying here? NOT one jot or title shall pass from the law until the end of this world. What law? Read the rest of Matthew 5 and you'll see Jesus was talking about the ten commandments, then the 4th commandment concerning Sabbath remains EXACTLY as it was, which means the 7th day (Saturday) is sabbath not the first (Sunday). If you study Creation day you'll see God instituted the 7th day Sabbath before there was any sin in this world. He meant it to and eternal weekly day of rest. Which the prophecy of Isaiah 66:22-23, confirms. And these 7th day of the week is the ONLY day God has ever blessed and set apart for holy use. 

FALSE DOCTRINE 5 - MARK OF THE BEAST

There is a huge amount of Christians who do not even look into this important prophecy, and yet it is the one that will decide the fate of the world in the last days. And those who DO stuff the mark of the beast, the majority believes that it's gonna be a physical mark like a microchip or an ID card, or something similar. But the mark of the beast CANNOT be a physical mark and I'll tell you why. Study the WHOLE Bible and what will you see with certainty that God is concerned with? WORSHIP. And keeping his commandments. And if you study Revelation 13 and 14 concerning the beasts mark, what is the central theme? 

"Revelation 13:4,8,11,12,15 "And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. And I beheld another beast coming out of the earth and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast. And cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

Revelation 14:6-7,9-10 "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, saying, with a LOUD voice, worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or in his right hand, the same shall drink from the wine of the wrath of God."

Would you say worship is an issue? So what does worship have to do with receiving a physical mark like a microchip or an ID card FORCED upon you? And how does a microchip or ID card STOP you from giving true worship to God? That is why the mark of the beast CANNOT be a physical mark. It's a spiritual mark to do with worship. "Revelation 14:12 "Here is the paitence of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." Right after the angel warns about receiving the mark of the beast, we are told that those who DON'T get the mark i.e. the saints, are the ones who are KEEPING God's commandments and following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. So the mark of the beast will be to do with God's ten commandments. The beast will enforce a law that will go against one or more of God's ten commandments. And those who accept this law of the beast will in effect be giving their WORSHIP to the beast, rather than God. They will have a spiritual mark that God can see and they will be lost. Don't get me wrong thought. I believe technology will be used to help ENFORCE the mark of the beast. But in and of itself it's impossible for it to be an actual mark. 

FALSE DOCTRINE 6 - ANTICHRIST HAS NOT YET COME 

Again like the mark of the beast issue, there are huge numbers of Christians who are not interested in finding out who the Antichrist is. And those who do study it, the majority believe a man will rise to power out of Euorpe, sometime in the near future. Thus false teaching was popularized by the "Left Behind" books, amongst many other false teachings. And there are many who just accept those books as truth. Rather than study the word of God themselves. The amazing thing about this one though is the Antichrist was revealed HUNDREDS OF years ago, by the Protestants. These brave men and women of God stood up for the truth and declared the persecuting Roman Catholic Church as the main Bible antichrist, and the Pope as the 'man of sin' which Paul speaks about. And yet virtually ALL of Protestantism today has now turned away from great truths that God revealed through the reformers, and has embraced the whore of Babylon, their MOTHER. 

The main Bible antichrist constitutes the 'little horn' of Daniel 7. The sea beast of Revelation 13 and Babylon the Great of Revelation 17 and 18. And this antichrist system is lead by that man of sin in 2 Thessalonians 2. And all these point UNMISTAKENLY to the Papal Church of Rome. Let's quickly look at the man of sin. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away frist, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who oppose the and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, sewing himself that he is God." What does the Bible say the temple of God is today? 1 Corinthians 3:16, tells us that WE (the church) Are the temple of God. So for that man of sin to "sit in the temple of God" he would need to reside and sit in a position of power of the professing Christian church right? And he would need to be looked upon and venerated and exalted higher than other men placed in a position like God right? 

Did you know that the word 'anti' in antichrist can also mean 'in place of' Christ. So do we have a person in the professing Christian church who is exalted higher than other men and is regarded as being in place of Christ on earth? Yes! The Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. And what is he called? The Holy Father. Who else would sit in the church on a throne, between two golden cherubim as God, called "holy father," other than the man of sin? This is your man of sin - the Roman Catholic Church is the Bible antichrist. 

These are important doctrines Satan has twisted and is going to use to deceive the masses in the last days. The only way we can be guarded against attacks from the enemy is studying and learning the truth. Why has God bothered giving us His word in the Bible? Why have many people given their very lives to bring the word of God in our own language? Because the TRUTH is vital for us to know and understand! I pray you study these things for yourself. Don't even take my word as truth, prayerfully open up your Bible and study. Jesus Christ will open your eyes to wonderful things that He is longing to share with you, so that you may stand in the last day of temptation and not be deceived.
