Revelation 14:9-12 "And the third angel followed them, saying with a LOUD voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are those that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. 

The most solemn of the end time messages. We must make every effort to search and seek the truth on this matter. But we cannot look to man for understanding. We must look to God. Pray that he will guide you to open up your eyes to the truth. So many people have been deceived into thinking the mark of the beast is some microchip or ID card. This is Hollywood fiction, mostly. Technology will be used to help enforce the mark. But the issue is much, much, deeper than some material thing. The third angels message actually gives us a clue as to what the mark of the beast will be. First the angel describes what will happen to those who take the mark and end up "spiritually" worshipping the beast. Then he says something of great importance and truth. He says the "saints" the ones who DON'T take the mark are the ones "keeping the commandments of God and the faith OF Jesus." The third angels message is ALL about who we look to. Those who look to man for understanding, help, and power and give their allegiance to man, will be deceived by man and end up receiving the beasts mark. Whereas those who look to Christ and Christ ALONE for teaching, understanding, help, and power and give their allegiance to Christ as their leader will not be deceived and will not receive the beast's mark. 

"Several have written to me, inquiring if the message of justification by faith is the third angels message, and I have answered, It is the third angels message in verity, God has light for His people, and all who will accept it will see the sinfulness of remaining in a lukewarm condition; they will heed counsel of the True Witness when he says 'Be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, open the door and I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with me." (Review and Herald, April 1, 1890) Why is 'justification by faith' the third angels message in verity? Isn't it all about Sunday law? (Will cover in another study) Yes, the Papacy is pushing to enforce it's Sunday law around the opposition of God's holy 7th day sabbath. (Seriously, look into this!) But what is the main crux of the third angels message? WHY will people receive the mark of the beast? Because they looked to man for teaching, understanding, and help. And they gave their allegiance to man, due to their lack of faith. Which means they cannot be justified and will receive the beasts mark. But those who truly have faith in Jesus will look to Christ alone for teaching, understanding, and help. They will give their FULL allegiance to Christ and through their faith, will see the sinfulness of trusting man and remaining in a lukewarm condition. Therefore they will be LIVING the 'faith of Jesus' and will be keeping the commandments of God as a result of their faith. THIS is the crux of the third angels message. 

Make no mistake, Satan is seeking to get his Sunday Law enforced around the world, and he is using clever tactics like the climate change movement and family time to persuade the world into keeping Sunday a day of rest. (We'll get into this too) The arch deceiver has deceived the Christian world into believing that we need not keep the 4th commandment anymore, or that it has been changed, when in reality the seventh day sabbath is as important today as it was when God instituted it at creation week. But guess what? Satan has also deceived 7th day sabbath keepers into following man and there will be MANY 'Sabbath keepers' today who will also receive the mark of the beast. How? The majority of Seventh Day Adventist and other 7th day Sabbath keepers today are following MAN instead of Christ. They are putting their trust in man and his teaching and they are doing this by worshiping a god created by man. The false trinity god! Instead of worshipping the one true God of the Bible, THE FATHER, and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. So even the majority of so called 'Sabbath keepers' are looking to man, instead or Christ and His truth. This issue is MUCH deeper than Sunday law. 

The time is at hand, we can no longer put out trust in man, or ourselves. We MUST put our complete trust in Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. We MUST surrender to him and give our allegiance to Him alone. THEN our Heavenly Father can work with us through His Son and give us His Spirit to help guide us in the truth. THEN we will not be deceived by man or the beast, and not receive it's mark. 

Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith OF Jesus."

In fact, God even warned us not to use images in His law.  Exodus 20:4-5 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeliness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, of that is in the water under the earth.
