Expounding The Commandments Pt. 5
Guide 5: Expounding Commandments 5&6
Welcome to Part 5 of this guide. Shalom if you've made it this far! In this section we're going to be expounding on the 5th and 6th commandments. Beginning by reiterating what these 2 Commandments are.
(Exodus 20:12) "Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which Yahuah Elohayka gives you." SHEMOTH (EXODUS) 20:12 את CEPHER.
(Exodus 20:13) "You shall not kill." SHEMOTH (EXODUS) 20:13 את CEPHER.
Commandment 5 is to honor your father and mother. The Hebrew word used for honor here is "Kabad" which is a root word and a verb. An action. It means to become a burden, to weigh down, to glorify, to respect, to literally honor. To honor your parents is to obey them, to respect them, to bear their burdens, to care for them in their old age. To love them in every single way. We see this Commandment be established once more in the Torah. In the book of Deuteronomy.
(Deuteronomy 5:16) "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahuah Elohayka has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which Yahuah Elohayka gives you." DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 5:16 את CEPHER
Now let us turn to what the Prophets said. (Tobit 10:12) "And he said to his daughter, Honor your father and your mother in law, which are now your parents, that I may hear good report of you. And he kissed her. Edna also said to Toviyahu, Yahuah of heaven restore you, my dear brother, and grant that I may see your children of my daughter Sarah before I die, that I may rejoice before Adonai: behold, I commit my daughter unto you of special trust; where are do not intreat her evil." TOVIYAHU (TOBIT) 10:12 את CEPHER
This here from the Prophet Tobit tells us that this command even extends to our in laws. This is when Tobit married his wife and he asked his father in law if he could go back to the house of his father. So he did and upon leaving, Sarah, Tobit's wife, her father tells her to honor her mother and father in law. They are her parents. Honor them so that you may live. And
(Malachi 1:6) "A son honors his father, and a servant his adoniy: if then I be a Father, where is my honor? and if I be an Adoniy, where is my fear? says Yahuah Tseva'oth unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised your name?" MAL`AKIY (MALACHI) 1:6 את CEPHER.
We see here in Malachi that this command extends to YaHUaH as well. A son honors his father. Obeys his father, respects him, upholds his name. And a servant obeys his master. So if YaHUaH is our Father, then where is his honor? And how do we honor YaHUaH? By upholding his Torah of course!
(Sirach 1:11) "The fear of Yahuah is honor, and glory, and gladness, and a crown of rejoicing." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 1:11 את CEPHER and
(Sirach 10:19) "They that fear Yahuah are a sure seed, and they that love him an honorable plant: they that regard not the Torah are a dishonorable seed; they that transgress the commandments are a deceivable seed." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 10:19 את CEPHER
Ironic we just pulled from the book of Sirach. Now we're going to look at what the writings say and the only writings on this topic is the book of Sirach. Also called Ecclesiasticus. This book was included in the 1611 KJV. And this book has quite a few things to say about honoring your parents.
(Sirach 3:2) "For Yahuah has given the father honor over the children, and has confirmed the authority of the mother over the sons." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 3:2 את CEPHER
(Sirach 3:3-4) "Whoso honors his father makes an atonement for his sins: And he that honors his mother is as one that lays up treasure." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 3:3-4 את CEPHER
(Sirach 3:5) "Whoso honors his father shall have joy of his own children; and when he makes his prayer, he shall be heard." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 3:5 את CEPHER
(Sirach 3:6) "He that honors his father shall have a long life; and he that is obedient unto Yahuah shall be a comfort to his mother." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 3:6 את CEPHER
(Sirach 3:7) "He that fears Yahuah will honor his father, and will do service unto his parents, as to his adoniym." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 3:7 את CEPHER
(Sirach 3:8-9) "Honor your father and mother both in word and deed, that a blessing may come upon you from them. For the blessing of the father establishes the houses of children; but the curse of the mother roots out foundations." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 3:8-9 את CEPHER
(Sirach 3:10-11) "Glory not in the dishonor of your father; for your father's dishonor is no glory unto you. For the glory of a man is from the honor of his father; and a mother in dishonor is a reproach to the children." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 3:10-11 את CEPHER
(Sirach 7:27-28) "Honor your father with your whole heart, and forget not the sorrows of your mother. Remember that you were begotten of them; and how can you recompense them the things that they have done for you?" SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 7:27-28 את CEPHER.
Don't forget that you are begotten of your mother and father. Remember the things they've done for you. How can you ever repay them? Well, the best way to repay them is to do it all for them in their old age! Our parents nurture us and take care of us and prepare us for life. The least we can do is take care of them when they're old and help prepare them for death.
Now, we're taking it to the Gospels. Let's see what our Messiah said about this. And better yet this guide is going to give us a true insight into how Messiah not only taught the Commandments but, he magnified them. He made them louder, he broke them down and took them a step further. Because the really icky things about ourselves, they come from within. From the heart. And Messiah tried to explain that. Unfortunately only his Disciples understood him.
(Matthew 15:3-6) "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of Elohiym by your tradition? For Elohiym commanded, saying, Honor your father and your mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of Elohiym of no effect by your tradition." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 15:3-6 את CEPHER
Here we have YaHUsHa rebuking the Pharisees. For two reasons well get to the second reason when we get to the book of Mark, which explains it better. The first reason he is rebuking them is for their tradition of the washing of hands before they ate. Because this wasn't like we do today. It wasn't for physical cleanliness. It was a ritual they performed for spiritual cleanliness. One they made up themselves and is NOT commanded anywhere in the Torah. They honored their made up garbage more than they honored the actual Torah. Rendered YaHUaH's commandments to no effect.
(Matthew 19:17-19) "And he said unto him, Why do you call me good? there is none good but one, that is, Elohiym: but if you will enter into life, guard the commandments. He said unto him, Which? Yahusha said, You shall do no murder, You shall not break wedlock, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother: and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 19:17-19 את CEPHER
Here YaHUsHa was talking to a particular young man who was rich. And he asked YaHUsHa what he had to do to enter the Kingdom. So YaHUsHa told him. Gaurd the Commandments. To which he replied but, I am. What more must I do? And YaHUsHa tells him give up all your belongings and riches and follow me. But, it was too much for the young man to do. He walked away feeling sorrowful to give up his things.
(Mark 7:9-13) "And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of Elohiym, that ye may guard your own tradition. For Mosheh said, Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoso curses father or mother, let him die the death: But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Qorban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; Making the Word of Elohiym of no effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye." MARQUS (MARK) 7:9-13 את CEPHER
Now, I will explain the second part of what YaHUsHa was rebuking the Pharisees for. Not only was he rebuking them for their handwashing ritual. He was rebuking them for laying aside the Command to honor your mother and father. Let's talk about this word above "Qorban." What does Qorban mean? Strongs Hebrew #2878 says that Qorban was an offering made to YaHUaH and it was used a way for the Jews evade their rightful duty to YaHUaH. The Pharisees told the children if they gave an offering to YaHUaH all would be fine. But it was a stumblingblock because the children misused it. They used it as an excuse to not come up to the synagogue on the Shabbat because they had to take care of their elderly parents. Which I want to state is fine. It is okay to care for your parents on the Shabbat! Good works on the Shabbat are permitted. BUT, it's not an excuse to ignore your relationship with the Most High. On the other side they were also using the "Qorban" the offerings as a way to withhold from their parents. This is how Jews got the reputation for being "stingy." They would tell their parents "you can't have that" or "I can't give that to you" because it was "Qorban" for the Most High. Thus making the Commandment to honor your parents, respect them, obey them, care for them, null and void. Through their tradition they created their own rules and disregarded YaHUaH's. And he said many such things you do like this.
(Mark 10:17-19) "And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Rabbi, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Yahusha said unto him, Why do you call me good? there is none good but one, that is, Elohiym. You know the commandments, Do not break wedlock, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor your father and your mother." MARQUS (MARK) 10:17-19 את CEPHER
(Luke 18:18-20) "And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Rabbi, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Yahusha said unto him, Why do you call me good? none is good, save one, that is, Elohiym. You know the commandments, Do not break wedlock, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother." LUQAS (LUKE) 18:18-20 את CEPHER
And lastly, before we move on let's see what the Apostles said on this. (Ephesians 6:1-3) "CHILDREN, obey your parents in Yahuah: for this is right. Honor your father and your mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." EPH'SIYM (EPHESIANS) 6:1-3 את CEPHER
Next up, we have the 6th Commandment. To not kill. Let's go thru the scriptures and see what we're told about killing and murder. Here is where we will see YaHUsHa himself begin to expound on the Commandments, magnifying them. Lets start by going back to the beginning, when the first murder was committed.
(Genesis 4:14-15) "Behold, you have driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from your face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that everyone that finds me shall slay me. And Yahuah said unto him, Therefore whosoever slays Qayin, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Yahuah set a mark upon Qayin, lest any finding him should kill him. BERE'SHIYTH (GENESIS) 4:14-15 את CEPHER
After Cain killed his brother, YaHUaH exiled him from his home. And he tells YaHUaH I will hide from you forever. I am a fugitive in the earth. And whoever finds me will kill me. But, that would be too easy. Like most murderers of course Cain wanted to die. But, that isn't much of a punishment is it? Instead he basically sat on YaHUaH's version of "death row." YaHUaH marked him and said that anyone who slayed Cain they would be repaid with vengence seven times over. So Cain was marked so anyone who found him would know this.
(Leviticus 24:17) "And he that kills any man shall surely be put to death. VAYIQRA (LEVITICUS) 24:17 את CEPHER
(Leviticus 24:18) "And he that kills a beast shall make it good; beast for beast." VAYIQRA (LEVITICUS) 24:18 את CEPHER
(Leviticus 24:21) "And he that kills a beast, he shall restore it: and he that kills a man, he shall be put to death." VAYIQRA (LEVITICUS) 24:21 את CEPHER
This next one we're going to read comes from the book of Numbers. And it tells us how to deal with someone who is a murdered according to YaHUaH's standard. It is just one of a few Chapters that tell us how to deal with such people. We can also read about how to deal with murder in the other books of the Torah. Here we're learning about Refugees who are escaping death.
(Numbers 35:15-34) "These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Yashar'el, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that everyone that kills any person unawares may flee thither. And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. Or if he smite him with a hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meets him, he shall slay him. But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die; Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meets him. But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him anything without laying of wait, Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm: Then the assembly shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments: And the assembly shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the assembly shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil. But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled; And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood: Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession. So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Whoso kills any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest. So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defiles the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I Yahuah dwell among the children of Yashar'el. BEMIDBAR (NUMBERS) 35:15-34 את CEPHER
(Deuteronomy 5:17) "You shall not kill." DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 5:17 את CEPHER
(Deuteronomy 12:15-16) "Notwithstanding you may kill and eat flesh in all your gates, whatsoever your soul lusts after, according to the blessing of Yahuah Elohayka which he has given you: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the deer. Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water." DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 12:15-16 את CEPHER
(Jubilees 4:32) "For this reason it was ordained on the heavenly tablets: With the instrument with which a man kills his neighbor with the same shall he be killed; after the manner that he wounded him, in like manner shall they deal with him." YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 4:32 את CEPHER
Now this isn't always true. As we know not all murderers are killed in the same manner they murdered. The ones who are caught die in prison, either naturally or on death row. We know some never murderers even escape this world without being murdered. Though their punishment IS waiting for them, make no mistake. But, if you ever wondered where the proverb "Live by the sword, die by the sword" came from, this is it. If you live by murder, you'll most likely die by murder.
(Jubilees 7:29-31) "And there shall not be left any man that eats blood, or that sheds the blood of man on the earth, nor shall there be left to him any seed or descendants living under heaven; for into She'ol shall they go, And into the place of condemnation shall they descend, And into the darkness of the deep shall they all be removed by a violent death. There shall be no blood seen upon you of all the blood there shall be all the days in which ye have killed any beasts or cattle or whatsoever flies upon the earth, and work ye a good work to your souls by covering that which has been shed on the face of the earth. And ye shall not be like him who eats with blood, but guard yourselves that none may eat blood before you: cover the blood, for thus have I been commanded to testify to you and your children, together with all flesh." YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 7:29-31 את CEPHER
Here we see, as well as in the book of Deuteronomy how to take care of blood from when we slaughter an animal. YaHUaH gave us specific instructions on how to slay an animal. It must be done humanely and not violent or viciously. We are also Commanded to not eat the blood OR leave it on the ground. The blood must be drained from the animal into one spot and then the blood must be covered into the earth with dirt.
Next we're going to get some insight for the Prophets. I didn't even pull half the verses I could have. The Prophets had much to say about murder. Let's begin with Jeremiah.
(Jeremiah 7:8-11) "How do ye say, We are wise, and the Torah of Yahuah is with us? Lo, certainly the lying pen of the scribes has made it a lie. The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the Word of Yahuah; and what wisdom is in them? Therefore will I give their women unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for everyone from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest everyone deals falsely. For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace." YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 8:8-11 את CEPHER
Jeremiah says that the pen of the scribes has lied. They reject the Word of YaHUaH, so what wisdom do they have? Now, what could Jeremiah possibly be talking about? Is he talking about the Torah? Were the perversing the Torah? No! The Torah was copied perfectly from generation to generation until the Romans came along. No what Jeremiah was referring to was the Talmud. While the children were in Babylonian captivity the elders, who later became known as the Pharisees created what is now known as the "Babylonian Talmud." And it is a bunch of writings where the elders discuss their interpretations on the scriptures. It's also where they later would go on to write about how our Messiah is a sinner and he is right now burning in "boiling excrement." They have all been given over to covetousness. The prophets prophesy lies and the priests minister lies. They give the children hope of peace but, there will never be peace.
(Ezekiel 34:2-5) "son of A'dam, prophesy against the shepherds of Yashar'el, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus says Adonai Yahuah unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Yashar'el that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became food for all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 34:2-5 את CEPHER
(Hosea 4:1-3) "HEAR the Word of Yahuah, ye children of Yashar'el: for Yahuah has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of Elohiym in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and breaking wedlock, they break out, and blood touches blood. Therefore shall the land mourn, and everyone that dwells therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fish of the sea also shall be taken away." HUSHA (HOSEA) 4:1-3 את CEPHER
(Hosea 6:8-10) "Gil'ad is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood. And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness. I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Yashar'el: there is the whoredom of Ephrayim, Yashar'el is defiled." HUSHA (HOSEA) 6:8-10 את CEPHER
Alright, moving over the writings now. We're gonna take a look at a couple things Solomon had to say. Pulling from the book "Wisdom of Solomon." And also the book of Sirach a.k.a. Ecclesiasticus.
(Wisdom of Solomon 12:1-6) "FOR your incorruptible Ruach is in all things. Therefore chasten them by little and little that offend, and warn them by putting them in remembrance wherein they have offended, that leaving their wickedness they may believe on you, O Yahuah. For it was your will to destroy by the hands of our fathers both those old inhabitants of your holy land, Whom you hated for doing most odious works of witchcrafts, and wicked sacrifices; And also those merciless murderers of children, and devourers of man's flesh, and the feasts of blood, With their priests out of the midst of their idolatrous crew, and the parents, that killed with their own hands souls destitute of help." CHOKMAH SHALOMAH (WISDOM OF SOLOMON) 12:1-6 את CEPHER
(Wisdom of Solomon 16:14) "A man indeed kills through his malice: and the ruach, when it is gone forth, returns not; neither the soul received up comes again." CHOKMAH SHALOMAH (WISDOM OF SOLOMON) 16:14 את CEPHER
(Sirach 9:13) "Keep far from the man that has power to kill; so shall you not doubt the fear of death: and if you come unto him, make no fault, lest he take away your life presently: remember that you go in the midst of snares, and that you walk upon the battlements of the city." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 9:13 את CEPHER
(Sirach 34:19-21) "El Elyon is not pleased with the offerings of the wicked; neither is he pacified for sin by the multitude of sacrifices. Whoso brings an offering of the goods of the poor does as one that kills the son before his father's eyes. The bread of the needy is their life: he that defrauds him thereof is a man of blood." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 34:19-21 את CEPHER
Okay, here is where things are gonna get interesting. Now, we're looking into the Gospels. And here is where I am going to show you how YaHUsHa not only came and taught the Law but, he magnified it. Which was prophesied by Isaiah. Check it out.
(Isaiah 42:21) "Yahuah is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the Torah, and make it honorable." YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 42:21 את CEPHER Beginning in the book of Matthew, lets see how YaHUsHa did this.
(Matthew 15:18-19) "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 15:18-19 את CEPHER
Like I told you earlier. Those evil, icky, things about us, they come from within. From the heart. A heart that doesn't have the Ruach of Elohiym. Let's go even deeper.
(Matthew 5:21-22) "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of the fire of Gey Hinnom." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 5:21-22 את CEPHER
Here YaHUsHa tells us that we have heard that we are not to kill. Because if you do. You're in danger of everlasting torment (Gey Hinnom). But, YaHUsHa said that whosoever hates his brother without a cause is also a murdered and in danger of everlasting torment. See how YaHUsHa magnified it. He made it louder. Because sometimes we need to check ourselves. Check our spirit. Hatred is NOT a fruit of the Spirit. Anger is NOT a fruit of the Spirit. Just thinking bad thoughts about them makes you just as guilty as if you had actually murdered them. Check your heart.
(Mark 7:21-23) "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man." MARQUS (MARK) 7:21-23 את CEPHER
The book of James teaches us how we must gaurd our tongues and what we say as well. You also have the power to speak life or speak death to people. Which is why we mist chose our words wisely brothers and sisters. Protect your lips.
(James 3:1-18) "MY brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their את whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor wills. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of Gey Hinnom. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and has been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we Elohiym, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of Elohiym. Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Does a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the Truth. This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace." YA`AQOV (JAMES) 3:1-18 את CEPHER
YaHUsHa then finally tells us where this comes from. All these terrible things. Lying, murdering, speaking falsely, all of it. It comes from Satan. He's been a murderer since the beginning and the father of lies.
(John 8:42-45) "Yahusha said unto them, If Elohiym were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from Elohiym; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the Truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the Truth, ye believe me not." YOCHANON (JOHN) 8:42-45 את CEPHER
Finally, let's learn about some of the things the Apostles said regarding murder.
(1 Peter 4:14-16) "If ye be reproached for the name of Mashiach, happy are ye; for the Ruach Elohiym of glory rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Mashiachiy, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify Elohiym on this behalf." KEPHA RI'SHON (1 PETER) 4:14-16 את CEPHER
If you are reproached for the name of our Messiah, be happy. Because that means you have the Ruach. YaHUaH is with you. On their part though, (the heathen) they speak evil of our Elohiym. But on our part, we glorify him. So do not let anyone suffer you to become a murderer, or thief, or idolater, even in your heart! If you suffer as YaHUsHa suffered don't be ashamed. For your reward is so exceedingly great! Glorify the Most High and know that your reward and your rest lies with him.
(1 Timothy 1:8-11) "But we know that the Torah is good, if a man conducts himself in it in accordance to the Torah; Knowing this, that the Law is not made for a righteous man, but for the wicked and disobedient, for the unholy and for sinners, for them without Yahuah and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious Besorah of the blessed Elohiym, which was committed to my trust." TIMOTHEUS RI'SHON (1 TIMOTHY) 1:8-11 את CEPHER
Do you see this!!!! The Torah is what?! It is GOOD! and if you conduct yourself according to the Torah than you know that it wasn't made for the righteous. The righteous have allowed YaHUaH into their hearts and have received his correction and instruction. The Torah was made for the disobedient! Those who do not know YaHUaH and have not received instruction in their lives. To teach you what sin is and teach you the instruction our Creator has left for us. Those without the Torah profane YaHUaH's name. Bring it to nothingness and use it in vain. They murder their parents, their whoremongers, and stealers, and liars. They are completely contrary to sound doctrine according to the Gospel, which has actually been being preached since the time of the Prophets. Commit your trust yo YaHUaH Tseva'oth.
(Romans 1:28-32) "And even as they did not like to retain Elohiym in their knowledge, Elohiym gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do את those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of Elohiym, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of Elohiym, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." ROMAIYM (ROMANS) 1:28-32 את CEPHER
(Galatians 5:18-21) "But if ye be led of the Ruach, ye are not under the Law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of Elohiym." GALATIYM (GALATIANS) 5:18-21 את CEPHER
If you are led of the Ruach, YaHUaH's Set-Apart Spirit, then you're not under the Law. Because the Ruach will always convict you to keep the Law. Those wo perform the works of the flesh are under the Law not those performing the works of the Spirit! Flesh and blood does not inherit the Kingdom, do remember that.
(1 John 3:13-15) "Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death. Whosoever את hates his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." YOCHANON RI'SHON (1 JOHN) 3:13-15 את CEPHER
(1 John 2:9-11) "He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not whither he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes." YOCHANON RI'SHON (1 JOHN) 2:9-11 את CEPHER
(1 John 4:19-21) "We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love Elohiym, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love Elohiym whom he has not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves Elohiym love his brother also." YOCHANON RI'SHON (1 JOHN) 4:19-21 את CEPHER
(Revelation 21:7-8) "He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his Elohiym, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." CHIZAYON (REVELATION) 21:7-8 את CEPHER
He who overcomes this world and all the temptations in it, he will become a son of Elohiym. Those who turned their cheek, the idolaters, the whoremongers, murderers, they will have their part on the lake of fire. The second death. The one they will not ever come back from.
(Revelation 22:14-15) "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie." CHIZAYON (REVELATION) 22:14-15 את CEPHER
**PART 6 WILL CONTINUE WITH THE 7TH AND 8TH COMMANDMENTS.**
