Expounding The Commandments Pt. 6
Guide #6: Expounding The 7th Commandment
**PART 6 THE 7TH COMMANDMENT**
Shalom! If you made it here don't stop just yet! Keep going. In this section of the guide we are going to cover the 7th Commandment. Let's go ahead and establish that Commandment once more.
(Exodus 20:14) "You shall not break wedlock." SHEMOTH (EXODUS) 20:14 את CEPHER Let's see what else the Torah has to say about breaking wedlock.
(Leviticus 20:10) "And the man that breaks wedlock with another man's woman, even he that breaks wedlock with his neighbor's woman, the adulterer and adulteress shall surely be put to death." VAYIQRA (LEVITICUS) 20:10 את CEPHER
(Deuteronomy 5:18) "Neither shall you break wedlock." DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 5:18 את CEPHER
(Jasher 33:21) "And they came and sat before their father and they spoke unto him kindled with wrath, saying, Surely death is due to this man and to his household, because Yahuah Elohiym of the whole earth commanded Noach and his children that man shall never rob, nor break wedlock; now behold Shekem has both ravaged and committed fornication with our sister, and not one of all the people of the city spoke a word to him." YASHAR (JASHER) 33:21 את CEPHER
Next let's check out what the Prophets said on the matter.
(Isaiah 57:3) "But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of him who breaks wedlock and the whore." YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 57:3 את CEPHER
(Jeremiah 7:9) "Will ye steal, kill, and break wedlock, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Ba`al, and walk after other elohiym whom ye know not." YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 7:9 את CEPHER
(Jeremiah 9:2) "Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they all break wedlock, an assembly of treacherous men." YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 9:2 את CEPHER
(Jeremiah 23:10) "For the land is full of those who break wedlock; for because of swearing the land mourns; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right." YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 23:10 את CEPHER
(Jeremiah 23:14) "I have seen also in the prophets of Yerushalayim a horrible thing: they break wedlock, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none returns from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Cedom, and the inhabitants thereof as Amorah." YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 23:14 את CEPHER
Do you see this? YaHUaH compared them, those transgressing the Commandments, to the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah. What happened to the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah? They were destroyed with fire and brimstone! What's happened before will happen again.
(Ezekiel 16:30-32) "How weak is your heart, says Adonai Yahuah, seeing you do all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman; In that you build your eminent place in the head of every way, and make your high place in every street; and have not been as a harlot, in that you scorn hire; But as a woman that breaks wedlock, which takes strangers instead of her man!" YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 16:30-32 את CEPHER
The children were following after the heathen nations. Worshipping their gods. Making temples to their gods. Serving Ba`al and then coming into the Most High's Tabernacle and serving him too. They were doubled minded. Serving 2 masters. Playing the whore. We'll touch deeper on this in a bit.
(Ezekiel 16:38) "And I will judge you, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give you blood in fury and jealousy." YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 16:38 את CEPHER
(Hosea 3:1-5) "THEN said Yahuah unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet a woman who breaks wedlock, according to the love of Yahuah toward the children of Yashar'el, who look to other elohiym, and love flagons of wine. So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for a homer of barley, and a half homer of barley: And I said unto her, You shall abide for me many days; you shall not play the harlot, and you shall not be for another man: so will I also be for you. For the children of Yashar'el shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without Teraphiym: Afterward shall the children of Yashar'el return, and seek Yahuah Elohayhem, and את David their King; and shall fear El-Yahuah and his goodness in the latter days." HUSHA (HOSEA) 3:1-5 את CEPHER
This here is pretty interesting. It is a parable. Hosea is saying the same way a woman breaks wedlock and still claims to love her husband, is the same way Israel has behaved. They break his Commandments, they go after other gods, and they love drunkenness and such like things. But, yet they claim to still love and serve YaHUaH after being adulterous.
(Hosea 4:1-2) "HEAR the Word of Yahuah, ye children of Yashar'el: for Yahuah has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of Elohiym in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and breaking wedlock, they break out, and blood touches blood." HUSHA (HOSEA) 4:1-2 את CEPHER
(Hosea 4:13) "They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall break wedlock." HUSHA (HOSEA) 4:13 את CEPHER
(Hosea 4:14) "I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they break wedlock: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that do not understand shall fall." HUSHA (HOSEA) 4:14 את CEPHER
(Malachi 3:5-6) "And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against those who break wedlock, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, says Yahuah Tseva'oth. For I am Yahuah, I change not; therefore ye sons of Ya`aqov are not consumed." MAL`AKIY (MALACHI) 3:5-6 את CEPHER
The Writings have a few interesting things to say. Let's look at them. Beginning in Psalms.
(Psalms 50:16-18) "But unto the wicked Elohiym says, What have you to do to declare my statutes, or that you should take my covenant in your mouth? Seeing you hate instruction, and cast my words behind you. When you saw a thief, then you consented with him, and have been partaker with those who break wedlock." TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 50:16-18 את CEPHER
(Proverbs 6:32) "But whoso breaks wedlock with a woman lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul." MISHLEI (PROVERBS) 6:32 את CEPHER
(Wisdom of Solomon 3:16) "As for the children of those who break wedlock, they shall not come to their perfection, and the seed of an unrighteous bed shall be rooted out." CHOKMAH SHALOMAH (WISDOM OF SOLOMON) 3:16 את CEPHER
(Wisdom of Solomon 14:24) "They kept neither lives nor marriages any longer undefiled: but either one slew another traiterously, or grieved him by breaking wedlock." CHOKMAH SHALOMAH (WISDOM OF SOLOMON) 14:24 את CEPHER
(Wisdom of Solomon 14:26) "Disquieting of good men, forgetfulness of good turns, defiling of souls, changing of kind, disorder in marriages, breaking wedlock, and shameless uncleanness." CHOKMAH SHALOMAH (WISDOM OF SOLOMON) 14:26 את CEPHER
(Sirach 23:18) "A man that breaks wedlock, saying thus in his heart, Who sees me? I am compassed about with darkness, the walls cover me, and nobody sees me; what need I to fear? El Elyon will not remember my sins." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 23:18 את CEPHER
This is once again talking to those double minded people. Those people who sin and act like YaHUaH doesn't see them. That all is good. They'll be forgiven even though they're not sorry and they're gonna do it again. At least this is how they think.
(Sirach 23:23) "For first, she has disobeyed the Torah of El Elyon; and secondly, she has trespassed against her own man; and thirdly, she has played the whore in breaking wedlock, and brought children by another man." SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 23:23 את CEPHER
First the children disobeyed the Torah. They broke the Commandments. Went back on their word to their Abba. Then they went after the heathen gods and traditions. And mixed with their people and bore children with them. They did exactly everything they were instructed not to do.
Now we're gonna have a look at the Gospels. Let's check out what Messiah had to say on the matter.
(Matthew 5:27-32) "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not break wedlock: But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has broken wedlock with her already in his heart. And if your right eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into Gey Hinnom. And if your right hand offend you, cut it off, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into Gey Hinnom. It has been said, Whosoever shall put away his woman, let him give her a writing of divorcement: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his woman, saving for the cause of fornication, causes her to break wedlock: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced breaks wedlock." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 5:27-32 את CEPHER
Here again is another example of YaHUsHa magnifying the Law. Taking it a step further. Showing the spiritual aspect to it. YaHUsHa said that whosoever looks upon a woman, or man alike, with lust is guilty of breaking wedlock and in danger of Gey Hinnom which is the valley of everlasting torment. (The book of Enoch speaks much about this) Now here is where people start to take things literally when Messiah was speaking figuratively. He said that if you eye offends you pluck it out. What he is saying is a figure of speech. He's not actually saying to pluck your own eye ball out. Or if your hand causes you to sin to actually cut your hand off. What he was saying is that it is BETTER to pluck your own eye ball out than it is to LUST after another. And it is BETTER to cut off your hand that it is to let it cause you to SIN. Also if a woman and a man divorce on any other grounds than "adultery" or being led astray than the divorce isn't valid. If they didn't cheat on your or cause you to sin, then by Elohyims Laws there is no ground for divorce. And anyone you are with after that becomes an adulterer and so do you as well.
(Matthew 19:9) "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his woman, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, breaks wedlock: and whoso marries her which is put away breaks wedlock." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 19:9 את CEPHER (Put away means divorced or estranged)
(Matthew 19:18-19) "He said unto him, Which? Yahusha said, You shall do no murder, You shall not break wedlock, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother: and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 19:18-19 את CEPHER
(Mark 10:11-12) "And he said unto them, Whosoever shall put away his woman, and marry another, breaks wedlock against her. And if a woman shall put away her man, and be married to another, she breaks wedlock." MARQUS (MARK) 10:11-12 את CEPHER
(Mark 10:18-19) "And Yahusha said unto him, Why do you call me good? there is none good but one, that is, Elohiym. You know the commandments, Do not break wedlock, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor your father and your mother." MARQUS (MARK) 10:18-19 את CEPHER
(Luke 16:17-18) "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the Torah to fail. Whosoever puts away his woman, and marries another, breaks wedlock: and whosoever marries her that is put away from her man breaks wedlock." LUQAS (LUKE) 16:17-18 את CEPHER
(Luke 18:19-20) "And Yahusha said unto him, Why do you call me good? none is good, save one, that is, Elohiym. You know the commandments, Do not break wedlock, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother." LUQAS (LUKE) 18:19-20 את CEPHER
(James 2:10-12) "For whosoever shall guard the whole Torah, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not break wedlock, said also, Do not kill. Now if you do not break wedlock, yet if you kill, you have become a transgressor of the Torah. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the Torah of liberty." YA`AQOV (JAMES) 2:10-12 את CEPHER
Do you see this brothers and sisters?! James made it very clear for us how breaking the commandments works. If you gaurd the Torah, if you break just one Commandment, you have broken them all. Breaking just one Commandment is not different than breaking them all. Because one sin eventually leads to another. So speak the Truth, the Torah, and do as well. Don't just be hearers be doers!
(James 4:3-5) "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye men and women who break wedlock, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with Elohiym? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of Elohiym. Do ye think that the Scripture says in vain, The Ruach that dwells in us lusts to envy?" YA`AQOV (JAMES) 4:3-5 את CEPHER
This particular scripture was talking about prayers going unanswered. The children didn't understand why YaHUaH wouldn't answer their prayers. And they're told because you ask amiss, to fulfill your vain lusts. Like praying to be rich, or to have a mansion, things like that. Those are vain and just to fulfill your fleshly desires. The material things of this world do not matter. They are all vanity. They didn't ask for things like knowledge, and wisdom, and counsel. Protection from Satan. Asking for their other fellow brothers and sisters to be delivered into the Truth. These are the things we should be praying for! Not material things. YaHUaH will always provide you with what you need, don't you trust him?
Okay, now we're going to quickly go over what the Apostles said.
(Romans 2:21-24) "You therefore which teach another, teach you not yourself? you that preach a man should not steal, do you steal? You that say a man should not break wedlock, do you break wedlock? you that abhor idols, do you commit sacrilege? You that make your boast of the Torah, through breaking the Torah do you dishonor Elohiym? For the name of Elohiym is blasphemed among the other nations through you, as it is written." ROMAIYM (ROMANS) 2:21-24 את CEPHER
(Romans 13:8-10) "Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the Torah. For this, You shall not break wedlock, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not lust; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the Torah." ROMAIYM (ROMANS) 13:8-10 את CEPHER
He that loves has fulfilled the Torah, for love IS the fulfillment of the Torah. Loving YaHUaH with all your heart, mind, and soul. And love your neighbor as yourself. The Torah as a whole teaches us how to do that brothers and sisters! Doing the Word is learning how to truly love!
Now, I want to also show you how our relationship with YaHUaH and YaHUsHa is referred to as a marriage. The covenant we enter into with YaHUaH is the same as a marriage covenant. The Commandments are our vows to the Most High. And the promise of Salvation and a life in New Jerusalem is his Vow to us. By holding up our end of the marriage (keeping the Commandments) we are granted eternal life in the Millenial Kingdom. So to say the Law is done away with is like saying you don't have to uphold your wedding vows to your husband or wife. We made a commitment to our Creator to be faithful to him. Any straying away from him whether it be idolatry, witchcraft, fornication, any of it is all adultery. It is directly breaking our vow and commitment to YaHUaH Tseva'oth making it void. So let's check it out, beginning with the Prophets.
(Isaiah 54:5) "For your Maker is your husband; Yahuah Tseva'oth is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Yashar'el; The Elohai of the whole earth shall he be called." YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 54:5 את CEPHER
Isaiah made it plain and clear for us. YaHUaH just had him come right out and say it. YaHUaH, our Creator, our Maker, is our Husband, & our Redeemer, the Holy One of Yashar'el (YaHUsHa). The Elohai (God) of the WHOLE earth. Not one part of the earth. Not just of the Jews. The ENTIRE earth.
(Isaiah 61:10) "I will greatly rejoice in Yahuah, my soul shall be joyful in my Elohiym; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 61:10 את CEPHER
If you're familiar with my Series on Isaiah then you'll know that the book of Isaiah carries a very important message for the end times Remnant. Chapters 41-66 specifically carry a special message for end times Yashar'el. This here and the next verse I am going to share are part of this special message. This here is Isaiah talking about that Great and Fearful Day of YaHUaH. Those who serve him they will rejoice in him, in his Word. And they will prepare themselves for his return. YaHUaH will clothe his people with the garments of salvation, and the robe of righteousness. As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments and as a bride adorns herself with jewelry.
(Isaiah 62:4-5) "You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land anymore be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Chephtsiy-Bahh, and your land Beulah for Yahuah delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your Elohiym rejoice over you." YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 62:4-5 את CEPHER
Again. Isaiah was speaking to end times Yashar'el. One day the children would begin waking up again. They would no longer be forsaken or desolate. They would begin to multiply again. And the land shall become married. When the New Jerusalem descends from Heaven. As a young man marries a virgin so shall your sons marry you. Meaning it will begin to carry on through our children again as well. The children begin to wake up to the Truth again and they pass it down to their children again. They come back to the Torah and the ancient paths. And as the bridegroom rejoices over his bride so shall YaHUaH rejoice over us!
(Jeremiah 31:31-34) "Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that I will cut a Renewed Covenant with the house of Yashar'el, and with the house of Yahudah: Not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband unto them, says Yahuah: But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Yashar'el; After those days, says Yahuah, I will put my Torah in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohiym, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahuah: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says Yahuah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 31:31-34 את CEPHER
Jeremiah also spoke about the Renewed Covenant. He says in this day, the day he renews his Covenant with us, on the last day, that he will put his Torah in our inward parts and write it on our heart to do it. And he will be our Elohiym and we his people. And no more should anyone teach any man or his neighbor to know YaHUaH, from the greatest to the least will know who he is! And he will remember our iniquity no more. We know we're not there yet brothers and sisters. Because we still live in a world full of iniquity, his Torah is not written within people except a small minority, and many, many, people still do not know him. And I don't mean know of him, or know his name. Plenty of people know that. I mean truly know him. They don't know his Torah, or his statues, or his feast days, or his testimonies. They don't know the heart of the Father.
(Jeremiah 11:7-8) "For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Mitsrayim, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice. Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked everyone in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not." YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 11:7-8 את CEPHER
(Ezekiel 16:16-18) "And of your garments you did take, and decked your high places with diverse colors, and played the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so. You have also taken your fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given you, and made to yourself images of men, and committed whoredom with them, And took your broidered garments, and covered them: and you have set my oil and my incense before them." YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 16:16-18 את CEPHER
Here Ezekiel talks about the childrens whoredom and adultery against the Most High. They decked their high places. Their temples in the hills where they would go worship their false elohyim. And played the harlot. They also took of the fair gold and silver and jewels which were supposed to go to the Tabernacle of YaHUaH and made images with them. Idols. And they hid their garments for YaHUaH. And they took YaHUaH's oil and incense that was for the Tabernacle and set it before their false elohyim.
(Ezekiel 16:26-29) "You have also committed fornication with the Mitsriym your neighbors, great of flesh; and have increased your whoredoms, to provoke me to anger. Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over you, and have diminished your ordinary food, and delivered you unto the will of them that hate you, the daughters of the Pelishtiym, which are ashamed of your lewd way. You have played the whore also with the Ashshuriym, because you were unsatiable; yea, you have played the harlot with them, and yet could not be satisfied. You have moreover multiplied your fornication in the land of Kena`an unto Kasdiymah; and yet you were not satisfied herewith." YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 16:26-29 את CEPHER
(Ezekiel 16:38) "And I will judge you, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give you blood in fury and jealousy." YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 16:38 את CEPHER
(Ezekiel 16:44-45) "Behold, everyone that uses proverbs shall use this proverb against you, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter. You are your mother's daughter, that loathes her man and her children; and you are the sister of your sisters, which loathed their men and their children: your mother was a Chittiy, and your father an Emoriy." YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 16:44-45 את CEPHER
(Hosea 2:16-19) "And it shall be at that day, says Yahuah, that you shall call me Iyshiy; and shall call me no more Ba`aliy. For I will take away the names of Ba`aliym out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. And in that day will I cut a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. And I will betroth you unto me forever; yea, I will betroth you unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies." HUSHA (HOSEA) 2:16-19 את CEPHER
The Hebrew word "Iyshiy" means husband. At that day we shall call him Husband and no more call him Ba`aliym which means....you guessed it! Lord! He will take the names of Ba`aliym out of our mouths. The Names of Ba`al. Satan. And we will no more remember them and YaHUaH will betroth himself to us once and for all. This next piece of scripture is very interesting indeed.
(4 Maccabees 2:1-13) "AND what wonder? if the lusts of the soul, after participation with what is beautiful, are frustrated, on this ground, therefore, the temperate Yoceph is praised in that by reasoning, he subdued, on reflection, the indulgence of sense. For, although young, and ripe for sexual intercourse, he abrogated by reasoning the stimulus of his passions. And it is not merely the stimulus of sensual indulgence, but that of every desire, that reasoning is able to master. For instance, the Torah says, You shall not lust after your neighbor's woman, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor. Now, then, since it is the Torah which has forbidden us to desire, I shall much the more easily persuade you, that reasoning is able to govern our lusts, just as it does the affections which are impediments to justice. Since in what way is a solitary eater, and a glutton, and a drunkard reclaimed, unless it be clear that reasoning is lord of the passions? A man, therefore, who regulates his course by the Torah, even if he be a lover of money, straightway puts force upon his own disposition; lending to the needy without interest, and cancelling the debt of the incoming Shabbath. And should a man be parsimonious, he is ruled by the Torah acting through reasoning; so that he does not glean his harvest crops, nor vintage: and in reference to other points we may perceive that it is reasoning that conquers his passions. For the Torah conquers even affection toward parents, not surrendering virtue on their account. And it prevails over marriage love, condemning it when transgressing the Torah. And it lords it over the love of parents toward their children, for they punish them for vice; and it domineers over the intimacy of friends, reproving them when wicked. And think it not a strange assertion that reasoning can in behalf of the Torah conquer even enmity." MAKKABIYM REVIY`IY (4 MACCABEES) 2:1-13 את CEPHER
This piece of scripture is extremely interesting to read. It is speaking about lust. And it saying that if the lust of the soul is participation in that which is beautiful and Joseph (who was said to have been very handsome) is praised, in by reasoning (Torah) he subdued the indulgence of such lusts. Even though he was young, in his prime, ready to reproduce, he didn't give in by reasoning the stimulus of his passions. Not wanting to break the Torah. This is talking about when Pharoh's wife tried to bed him by the way, for those who aren't familiar with Joseph. And it isn't just the stimulus of indulgence he had this reasoning but, for every desire. I.e. the Commandments. The Torah is his reasoning. Because the Torah tells us not to do these things. Reasoning is able to govern our lusts. But, who's reasoning do you have? YaHUaH's reasoning OR man's reasoning? It matters. A man who regulates his course by the Torah even if he be a lover of money, will straight away change his disposition. Lending to the needy without interest (we don't charge the poor interest) cancelling the debt of the incoming Shabbat. We don't buy of sell on the Shabbat. No spending money. This man is ruled through the Torah by reasoning. This reasoning, the Torah, is the key to conquering your passions. The Torah conquers the love of parents who are surrendering virtue on their account. Those who aren't passing the Torah down. It prevails over marriage, in that it shows us what adultery is. And that your spouse should never lead you astray. And that a husband is the leader of the Faith in the family. And it governs parents toward their children. Punishing them when they need it. Correcting and reproving them. And it domineers over the intimacy of friends reproving them when they are wicked. And it is not strange thing that reasoning by the Torah can even conquer enmity.
The only writings we have on this topic is found in the book of Psalms.
(Psalms 19:1-9) "THE heavens enumerate the glory of El; and the expanse shows his handywork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heavens, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. The Torah of Yahuah is perfect, restoring the soul: the testimony of Yahuah is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of Yahuah are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of Yahuah is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of Yahuah is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of Yahuah are true and righteous altogether." TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 19:1-9 את CEPHER
Moving on to the Gospels next. (Matthew 22:28-30) "Therefore in the resurrection whose woman shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. Yahusha answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of Elohiym. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of El in heaven." MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 22:28-30 את CEPHER
This is also an interesting scripture. I'll tell you what is so interesting about it. Is that YaHUsHa said don't you know the Scriptures? In the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are as the angels." Now absolutely NO WHERE in the 66 Cannon Bible does it say that. No where. So what Scriptures is YaHUsHa referring to? What Scriptures tell us that the angels of Heaven don't marry? And neither will we because we will be like them. The book of Enoch does! It is the only book that tells us this and this isn't the first time our Messiah can be found quoting it.
(Enoch 15:1-7) "THEN addressing me, He spoke and said, Hear, neither be afraid, O righteous Chanok, you scribe of righteousness: approach hither, and hear my voice. Go, say to the Watchers of heaven, who have sent you to pray for them, you ought to pray for men, and not men for you. Wherefore have you forsaken the lofty and holy heaven, which endures forever, and have lain with women; have defiled yourselves with the daughters of men; have taken to yourselves women; have acted like the sons of the earth, and have begotten Naphaliym. You being spiritual, holy, and possessing a life which is eternal, have polluted yourselves with women; have begotten in carnal blood; have lusted in the blood of men; and have done as those who are flesh and blood do. These however die and perish. Therefore have I given to them women, that they might cohabit with them; that sons might be born of them; and that this might be transacted upon earth. But you from the beginning were made spiritual, possessing a life which is eternal, and not subject to death forever. Therefore I made not women for you, because, being spiritual, your dwelling is in heaven. CHANOK (ENOCH) 15:1-7 את CEPHER
The Fallen Watchers had spoken with Enoch and asked Enoch to pray for them to the Most High, for forgiveness. Because they knew at this point they were totally cut off. They knew they couldn't return to Heaven. So they asked Enoch. And it really angered YaHUaH who also told Enoch to tell them that they are supposed to pray and intercede for you not you pray and intercede for them. That was the whole reason they were sent here. To gaurd the children of Elohiym and guide them in his Torah. But it failed utterly. And he told them you who have been spiritual since the beginning and you've polluted yourself with women. You are spiritual so for you I didn't make women because you are spiritual and your dwelling is in heaven. He told them I made man of the flesh and for him I made woman. So that he may have a helper and reproduce. Next lets talk about the Parable of the wise and foolish virgins.
(Matthew 25:1-13) "THEN shall the Kingdom of Heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Adonai, Adonai, open to us. But he answered and said, Amein I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of A'dam comes. MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 25:1-13 את CEPHER
This is one of my favorite Parables. And it is so misunderstood. So there is 10 virgins. And they all took their lamps (Torah) to go meet the bridegroom (YaHUsHa). 5 were wise and 5 were foolish. The foolish took their lamps (Torah) but had no oil (Knowledge/Understanding). But, the wise took oil in their lamps. They had knowledge and understanding. The bridegroom (YaHUsHa) tarried while they slept. And are midnight their was a cry. The bridegroom (YaHUsHa) comes, go out to meet him! Then all the wise virgins arose and trimmed their lamps and the foolish said give us some of your oil (Knowledge) for ours have gone out. But, the wise said nay, unless there isn't enough for us and you. Go to the shops and buy for yourselves. So they went to buy, the went to go get understanding and the bridegroom (YaHUsHa) came and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage and they shut the door. After the other virgins came and said Adonai open to us! But, he answered and said, Amein I do not know you. Why is why we need to be watching and always be ready. He could come at any hour.
(Mark 12:24-25) "And Yahusha answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of El? For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven." MARQUS (MARK) 12:24-25 את CEPHER
The book of Mark tells us something similar to what we learned previously in Matthew.
(Luke 20:34-35) "And Yahusha answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage." LUQAS (LUKE) 20:34-35 את CEPHER and once again in Luke.
(John 15:1) "I AM the Vine of Truth, and my Father is the Husbandman." YOCHANON (JOHN) 15:1 את CEPHER
Lastly let's have a look at what the Apostles said on the matter.
(Hebrews 8:7-13) "For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, when I will make a Renewed Covenant with the house of Yashar'el and with the house of Yahudah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitsrayim; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, says Yahuah. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Yashar'el after those days, says Yahuah; I will put my Torah into their mind, and write it in their hearts: and I will be their Elohiym, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahuah: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their Torahless deeds will I remember no more. In that he says, A Renewed Covenant, he has made the first old. Now that which decays and waxes old is ready to vanish away." IVRIYM (HEBREWS) 8:7-13 את CEPHER
Here we see Paul quoting what we read in Jeremiah. That he will make a Renewed Covenant with the house of Yashar'el where he would write his Torah upon our hearts and put it in our minds to do it. And everyone from the least to the greatest shall know YaHUaH. This former world is ready to pass away and die. The end is closer than we think brothers and sisters.
(Revelation 19:7-8) "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his woman has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the qodeshiym." CHIZAYON (REVELATION) 19:7-8 את CEPHER
The day we finally get to dwell with our Creator, once and for all. The marriage of the Lamb. When YaHUsHa comes for his people. The bride has made herself ready. And she is arrayed in fine linen and the linen is the righteousness of the qodeshiym. His Set-Apart people. And remember we read earlier (Isaiah 61) "He has clothed me with the garments of salvation and he has covered me with the robe of righteousness."
(Revelation 19:9) "And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me, These are the true words of Elohiym." CHIZAYON (REVELATION) 19:9 את CEPHER
(Revelation 18:23-24) "And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of the qodeshiym, and of all that were slain upon the earth." CHIZAYON (REVELATION) 18:23-24 את CEPHER
