Where To Begin Pt. 3
Guide #3: Learning The Torah
So, if you've made it to this point you have learned of repentance and the true meaning of faith. Now we must cover the importance of Yahuah's Torah and most importantly the 4th commandment about the Sabbath day.
Yahuah's Torah, his instructions is how we put into action our love for Yahuah and our love for our neighbors. It is instructions on how to do that. The Torah is what the first 5 books of the Old Testament are referred to as. The 5 books of Moses. Genesis through Deuteronomy. But personally for me, wherever there is a commandment given throughout scripture that applies to us, for me that is Torah, that is instruction. The word Torah, it means instruction, or law.

The first five books of the Bible instruct us how to love Yahuah with all our heart, mind, and soul. And how to love our neighbors as ourselves. It teaches us His Sabbaths, and feasts and it teaches us his dietary laws.
We begin with the 10 commandments found in Exodus chapter 20. The Catholic Church and most modern day churches have done away with the second commandment about graven images and changed the fourth commandment concerning the Sabbath day. So let's go ahead and establish the commandments and make them known. Exodus 20:1-17
AND Elohiym spoke את all these words, saying,
I am Yahuah Elohayka, which have brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.
You shall have no other elohiym before me. You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahuah Elohayka am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and guard my commandments.
You shall not take the name of Yahuah Elohayka in vain; for Yahuah will not hold him guiltless את that takes his name in vain.
Remember the day of the Shabbath, to keep it holy. Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the Shabbath of Yahuah Elohayka: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yahuah blessed the day of Shabbath, and hallowed it.
Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which Yahuah Elohayka gives you.
You shall not kill.
You shall not break wedlock.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not lust after your neighbor's house, you shall not lust after your neighbor's woman, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor's.
So we are not to make any graven images of any sort. And we are not to idolize graven images either. The seventh day is the Sabbath day of Yahuah. The seventh day of the week is Saturday. And almost all other languages use the word Sabbath for Saturday. Because it is the true Sabbath day. Not Sunday, which was introduced by Emperor Constantine in 321AD in Rome. And if you're wondering if it matters what day we rest. The answer is yes, it very much matters. Firstly because it's a commandment. One of the top 10 commandments. But, also because it is how Yahuah seals his people. It is the one day of the week we use to acknowledge our Creator and the covenant we've entered with Him. The one day of the week that points to who Yahuah is. Just like Satan is going to seal his people with the Mark of the beast, Yahuah is going to seal His people with the Seal of Elohiym. The Aleph Tav. The Aleph Tav symbol is not only the seal, or Mark of Elohiym but, also the Mark that can point us to Yahusha all the way at the beginning. The first time the Hebraic Aleph Tav mark is seen in scripture is in Genesis 1:1 in the Hebrew scriptures it says ("IN the beginning Elohiym created את the heavens and את the earth.") That Hebrew symbol you see above is the Aleph Tav symbol. It translates to "Strength of the Covenant." The Aleph symbol means Strength and the Tav symbol means Covenant. Thus by gaurding the Sabbath day and keeping it holy you are gaurding the Covenant and Yahuah will seal you as his. Start with the Sabbath.
Once you start observing the true Sabbath you should begin reading the rest of the book of Exodus after the commandments are given and read the books of Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. You can read about Yahuah's feast days and Dietary laws in Leviticus.
You can read about the Dietary laws in Leviticus 15
You can read about Yahuah's Feast Days in Leviticus 23
And you can read about the blessings you receive for obeying Yahuah's Torah and the curses you receive for disobeying Yahuah in Deuteronomy 28-30.
